The pentagram
Witchcraft involves a pentagram symbol in which it is a tooll used in rituals. The pentagram is usually placed o the north side of the altar and holds salt. Each point on the pentagram represents the five elements which are Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit.

This symbol in witchcraft is the symbol of goddess. the word crescent comes from te latin word creare which means to create. It is also the symbol of women fertility: the ability of women to create life.
The triple goddess

This symbol shows the moon in three of its four phases, waxing, full, & waning. This links with the monthly phases of a woman's cycle. The waxing moon represents growing up, full moon represents adulthood, and the waning moon represents old age. After these phases the moon turns dark which represents death.
